Zeitgeistbot an interactive artist who creates art from social media, web cameras, smartphone data, and from audience participation.
He has been working with internet data as a medium. His work is focused on exploring ways of translating data into interactive art pieces, to give a new perspective of what the medium of data is… or can be.

His work is characterized by using dynamic data from social media websites to create visual compositions which are always in a transitional state. His art pieces are a reflection of current social media data.

Some of his work involves cell phones or mobile devices using cell phones signals to dynamically create visual compositions which are displayed on the cell phone screen. Cell phones creating art for cell phones.

For other pieces of art, he has been exploring how Internet users define abstract terms by using social media tools such as Flickr and/or twitter to dynamically create interactive experiences: a visual & interactive exploration into folksonomy art.

Artworks also include an active audience, in which the audience can participate in the creation and manipulation of the art piece.
Some art pieces are based off peoples’ physical motions from around the world. Translated by a motion tracking web cameras and algorithms to produce interpretational art.

Mediums include social media data from twitter, facebook, Flickr, live cameras feeds, smartphones, p5.js, jQuery, Node.js, and socket.io.
