The Day — time & weather as mobile art

THE APPLICATION

The Day Timepiece is an stylish art piece that displays time and weather information from your location. It provides a beautiful minimal interface that changes color depending on the time. Semi-transparent sections are used to represent hours, minutes, seconds and temperature of the day.

There is option to turn off the time and weather text display, leaving an interactive art piece. The audience may be able to quickly get to know the time and temperature by quickly glancing at the colors and composition of the art piece.

THE CONCEPT

The concept is to explore alternative ways of viewing information and data. By using color and an ever changing composition, the goal was to create a minimal art piece that represents time and weather conditions.
